The Acquario di Genoa, located in the Old Port of Genoa, is one of the largest aquariums in Europe. Spanning over 3,000 sq m, its massive tanks house over 12,000 animal and plant species from all over the world, including dolphins, penguins, sharks, and the endangered manatees. You can get an Aquarium Village pass which gives you access to all attractions surrounding the aquarium. One standout ride is the 40-metre-tall Bigo lift, which gives you panoramic views of Genoa City
HISTORIC WALKING AREA & ARCHITECTURAL BUILDINGS
Boccadasse is an old mariners' village of the Italian city of Genoa. It fans out from the former fishermen’s village, featuring pastel-colored houses with green shutters. Ice cream shops and relaxed bars skirt the small pebble beach and harbor, while trattorias with al fresco tables prepare fish and Genoese specialties. The terrace beside the Church of St. Anthony of Boccadasse offers views of the sea and the village.

Piazza de Ferrari is a bustling area featuring many important buildings such as the Palazzo Ducale, once the Palace of the Doge of Genoa and now used as a cultural center; the neoclassical opera house of Genoa, Teatro Carlo Felice; and the old stock exchange building. You can walk to the piazza and stroll around on your own, or book a city sightseeing tour or hop-on hop-off bus tour to explore Piazza de Ferrari and other Genoese landmarks.

Welcome to the Mediterranean's largest museum dedicated to the sea, taking visitors on an extraordinary journey through the history of navigation in the buildings of the old dockyard of the Republic of Genoa.
A brilliant combination of tradition and technological innovation, it spans across 4 floors, with a total of twenty-eight large rooms, including one devoted to Christopher Columbus with his famous portrait attributed to Ghirlandaio and his Book of Privileges, simulated port and shipyard settings, media stations, and spectacular sound and lighting effects.
Visitors can discover how men lived on board a galley in the 1600s, experience Italian emigration in the 20th century through an interactive route and enjoy a uniquely engaging adventure inside the S518 Nazario Sauro submarine.
